Fely Irvine (born 9 January 1989) is a Filipino-born Australian actress, singer and dancer. She was a former member of Hi-5 from 2009 to 2011.

Biography

Early life

Fely Irvine was born in Davao City in the Philippines to a Filipina mother and a father of Scottish ancestry before moving to moving to Sydney, where she attended the Australian College of Entertainment in drama singing, tap, jazz and ballet and earned a high distinction (Australian Music Examination Board) through the Glenda Yee School of Dance. At the L.A. Talent School she graduated with honours (Federal Association of Teachers of Dancing). Fely has also completed a course in Advanced Film and Television through On Camera Connections and most recently studied at the Atlantic Acting School in New York City, founded by William H Macy and David Mamet. Prior to heading to New York in late 2008, Fely toured Australia with Cameron Mackintosh's 'Miss Saigon' under director Laurence Connor and starred as Jasmine in 'Triple Treat's Aladdin Pantomime' under Chris Farnham. Fely has appeared in numerous variety shows including the 'Roy Orbison Tribute Show', she is also recognised for appearing in 'Home and Away'.

Hi-5

Irvine joined Hi-5 in January 2009 after Sun Park left the group a month earlier. Courtesy of predecessors Park and original member Kathleen de Leon Jones, Irvine took on the Puzzles and Patterns segment for the final 3 seasons of Hi-5's original inception. Irvine's final performance as part of Hi-5 was at Carols by Candlelight on Christmas Eve 2011, she would soon departure after the performance, eventually being replaced by Dayen Zheng.

After Hi-5

In 2014, Irvine auditioned for The Voice with a performance of "We Found Love" by Rihanna and Calvin Harris. She received a two chair turn around, where she would eventually chose Ricky Martin as her coach.

The following year, Irvine became engaged to Home and Away star Tai Hara in January 2015, and the couple married in Bali in January 2017. Their first child, a daughter, was born in October 2020.
