Sydney James Harcourt (born 29 March 1976) is an American actor and singer. He was a member of Hi-5 after replacing original member, Shaun Taylor-Corbett in 2006; however, due to reasons unknown, the TV series was cancelled before they could produce episodes with James. Despite this, he appeared in the never-before-seen segments on the American DVDs Making Music and Wonderful Wishes.

Biography

Sydney James Harcourt was born in Detroit, Michigan. He has since become well known for his starring roles in the original Broadway company and 1st replacement for Aaron Burr in the hit musical Hamilton, Disney's The Lion King (Simba), rocking hard in others such as Green Day's American Idiot, and was most recently seen as the originator of the role of Joe Scott in the critically acclaimed original American cast of Bob Dylan's Girl From The North Country.

A Grammy award winner and sought-after New York vocalist, James has performed at some of the world's most prestigious concert venues, including Radio City Music Hall, Avery Fischer Hall (with the New York Philharmonic), and Carnegie Hall. He has toured North America from coast to coast, performing at sold-out venues from Australia to Indonesia to Puerto Rico.

He has acted in films and television shows such as Blue Bloods, NCIS, Elementary, Younger, The Good Wife, Law & Order, and the Disney movie Enchanted.
