Season 12 of Hi-5 Australia premiered in 2010. It consists of 45 episodes. This is the second season of the second generation.
Overview
Series 12 continues to tap into the things that Hi-5's preschool audience loves to engage with: toys, adventure, discovery, growing, storytelling and animals. Through its catchy music and joyful exploration of dance and movement, Hi-5 encourages all children to enjoy being physically active and have fun doing it![1]

Trivia
- This season featured the 500th episode of the series.
- This season introduced a new "Hidden Treasure" element to the Sharing Stories segment.
- The number of stories was reduced, from a new one per episode, to two stories alternating per week, reducing the total of the season to only eighteen.
- This is the last Australian season to feature the Fit Bit Tips segment.
