Season 8 of Hi-5 Australia premiered in 2006. It consists of 45 episodes. This is the eighth season of the first generation. This was also the last series to feature Kathleen de Leon Jones as a member, although she'd make three guest appearances in the following season.

Overview

Bright, funny and packed with upbeat songs and dancing, each chosen theme explored in Hi-5 reflects the things that are important to children (family, friends and themselves) and satisfies their curiosity about the world at large.

In every episode, the theme is explored through a range of segments, with each focusing on a particular area of learning: verbal, musical, visual, mathematical, physical and social. This structure gives children the opportunity to tap into knowledge and learn in a way that suits them.
